EZ- eBook Repair Kit

There are tons of ebooks in an exe format that have stopped working on the computers of people that are running Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed. I believe this is a Microsoft solution at... => [login to view URL] I need a Visual Basic 6.0 program that I can give away that will change the computer's settings, as outlined by Microsoft, so that all their exe ebooks will start working again for the computer's user. I don't want the program to function until it is registered through my autoresponder. Once it is registered the program will automatically fix the computers settings. This registration should only be required one time unless the program is installed on another computer. The program will be given away for free and be fully functional as long as it is registered on every computer it is installed on. A sample program that already does this can be down loaded at... => [login to view URL] I believe it only opens a port that the firewall has closed by default. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform I want this program to be in Visual Basic 6.0 so that it will be campatible with Win 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2000, and NT. I also want a copy of all user defined elements used in the program.
