We need to integrate automatic single photographic capture into an existing software.
With a camera (listed as compatible in the projects page) the libGPhoto2 for linux allows what we need:?
- automate a camera snapshot with the current camera setting
- retrieve the snapshotted jpeg
- Win32 standalone application. When launched from windows's command prompt, should take a snapshot and retrieve the image to disk with a fixed name, then exit
- Win32 standalone dll, with a "extern C int TakeSnapshot(char* apPathname); " wich does all the things, and saves the jpeg in the specified position. Returns 0 for no error, otherwise an errorcode.
Both the things should work with the minimum additional dlls installation, better nothing at all.
Should work in WinXP and Vista, and we must know if there are restriction for the running user mode etc (no surprises, please. The final application works in normal user mode).
We need a built, final version, of both the applications, ready to use. The source code should be recompiled with a VisualC compiler ver 7 or 8. Also Codewarrior9 is good. The source code will then be published, since is connected to a GPL lib.
