W2K Group Policies, great things - allow me to edit users registries remotely with an assumed authority, I'm having trouble getting the hang of .adm templates
What I would like to have is an adm template with a 'kill switch' for certain file extensions (bat, vbs, wsh, scr, pif) that would dissociate from their programs and maybe associate with notepad.
I also have a number of regedit's I'd like to deploy, Disable the Outlook preview pane for example - I've tried these but end up tatooing the registry with multiple 'default keys'
What I want is an ADM file to do the kill switch, and be lucidly commented so I can add in other modifications, this bit is important 'cos I'm wanting to learn this.
I don't feel a need to own this, but I will need to modify it.
