UPDATE: I am reciving bids without hand-drawn artwork examples. These bids will not be accepted. Don't waste your time bidding if you don't have examples. Hello,
I need a logo design for a law school. The logo should consist of the following...
The logo should be inside of a circle, with "lady justice" in the middle waving a sword in the air with one hand, and holding the "scales of justice" with the other. I think her right-hand should be holding the sword. If you don't know what lady-justice is, think of the statue of liberty, except that lady-justice is blind-folded. Behind her, I would like to see radial lines that start behind lady-justice and stretch out to the outer edges of the circle... like something you would see on a coin or something. Just inside of the circle, I would like "wreaths," like Harvard's logo (disclaimer: do not copy or try to imitate Harvard's logo). Outside of the circle, I would like another larger circle encompassing the first circle - the space between the circles will be reserved for the name of the law school.
A couple of points to note:
DO NOT COPY ANYONE ELSE'S LOGO (I will be sued, and in turn, I will sue you :)
This must be a hand-drawn original, imported into PhotoShop and touched up as necessary. I will provide the current logo to the winning bidder, and this should make the job much easier, although it cannot be copied because the end-result we are looking for is radically different from the current logo.
The delivered format will need to be a .PSD files with all layers available (not flattened). Since I am not providing the name of the school here in the bid request, you will need to fill that in upon my approval of the final draft.
I am willing to pay a good amount for a good job. If you aren't up to the task of designing a hand-drawn work of art, please don't waste our time.
I definately need to see past work and logo examples.
