Help me get rid of win32 exception error!

Hello, I need help with an error I am receiving. The problem began when I Installed Internet Explorer 7 Beta long time ago. I have windows XP pro. I always received the error from Norton everytime I opened Internet Explorer, I don't recognize the exact message, but I used to put "Continue what I was doing", and then I continue working normally. Now the problem is, two days ago, my computer crashed, so I went to Task Manager and made a right click on "explorer" and selected "End Process Tree". Then I went to run and typed "explorer" to run the explorer again. I always used this method when my computer crashed, but this time, something went wrong, and I received a strange error. However, I restarted my computer. After this, everytime my computer starts, I receive an error that says: "An Unhandled Win32 exception occured in explorer[1888]." (See the attached image). Sometimes the number in the quotations varies. I attached an image of how my desktop looks when the computer starts up. I have Visual Studio 2005 professional installed, so the Debugger suggest it. If I click "Yes" to Debug in vs, my computer crashes. If I click "No" , the desktop refreshes with all the icons, and the error message appear again. I uninstalled IE7, from Add/Remove program, and now I have IE6 i guess, but the problem still occurs. I tried to Repair windows using my Windows Installation CD, I thought this will definetely fix my issue, but unfortunately few minutes ago the installation of windows finished and I still see the same error. Note that I cannot access anything related to "[url removed, login to view]", for example, I can run FireFox, Photoshop, etc.. but I cannot run "My Computer", "My Network Places", "Msn Messenger" ,etc... Formating the PC is unacceptable solution. I will need someone to guide me on how to fix this. 10+ rating and good comments guaranteed. The deadline for the project is 1 day, but I can extend it one more day if needed, but I prefer to solve the problem today. Thanks.

(No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
