Our Redmond, WA (USA) based software company has numerous projects potentially converging on us right now... We are scrambling for contingency plans to meet the potential 40-person staffing need.
We already have a close-knit working relationship with one excellent company in India, but if all the work that we anticipate comes to us they will not be able to staff up fast enough.
We may need to expand within the next 4-12 weeks. We would like to review proposals for strong 3-10 person teams from additional partners, working remotely from your own work sites wherever they may be. We favor rates in the $1,000 per full time engineer (or lower) on average. Hence the most viable proposals will come from aggressive startup consulting service firms in developing nations.
This RFP is for 1 month of work by the immediately available team from your organization. If your organization is selected we will issue a new rent-a-coder RFP each subsequent month (which may include more team members as they become available).
We do not know how quickly (or whether) the work will come, but we tend to think it is fairly likely to happen within the next 90 days. If so, we will be selecting multiple vendors. (i.e. we will hire 4 or more different teams via separate rent-a-coder bid acceptances). Bid with confidence that this is a real opportunity. You can see from my profile and RAC history that I move forward successfully with large projects.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
Several different projects and platforms.
Most (but not all) of the projects are related to interactive courseware and VoIP e-learning. Our projects tend to fuse a variety of technologies (Linux, Windows, AJAX, Flash, ActionScript,...)
**To be considered, please review the attached spreadsheet and send it back to us with details about the team that you could dedicate to our projects.** It is a simple check list of **key skills**, the billing rate and soonest availability for each individual. Also describe your organization overall and the types of projects you tend to attract (better yet, please specify a website we can look at). When describing yourselves, please note that we are more interested in brainpower and creativity than in ISO certificates etc. Tell us "who" you are. What are your best strengths?
