I need a java applet (or similar) created that can capture a user's screen or browser window as well as audio from the user's microphone. It then needs to save the video as an FLV.
The recording could be started and stopped by the user's interaction with a website (ie: embedded applet or something more tricky) and then the video will automatically be saved to a the server that the applet was launched from.
? - Works in Firefox on Windows and OSX
? - Records all of a user's interaction with the browser
? - Records the user's microphone audio in sync with the browser activity
? - Exports the video as an FLV file
Bonus points for:
? - Ability to record flash on a page (either at flash's full frame rate or at a slowed rate)
? - Ability to add annotations to the video at specific points in the timeline
I have attached a video of the interaction I am looking for.
Currently, [url removed, login to view] has a setup that does what I am talking about. If you watch the video on their home page, starting at the 3:00 minute mark, you can see how their process works. I am looking for something very similar, although it would be for a different purpose.
