Link Extractor and Blog Finder

I need a small research tool (windows application) to extract links from a few of my directory sites and check the links and see if the link is a blog. Technology to be used:? Windows C# Forms application in Visual Studio 2010 express ## Deliverables I need a small research tool (windows application) to extract links from a few of my directory sites and check the links and see if the link is a blog. Technology to be used: Windows C# Forms application in Visual Studio 2010 express I have a small budget, but will give you good feedback. Now the directory sites have a lot of pages, I need it to go through the pages automatically, so it’s going to have a settings area to specify the settings. Here is how it’ll work: It’ll have 2 tabs, Search and Setting Setting Tab: 1. Search Url: (ie: [login to view URL]{start}) 2. Number Of Results: (ie 200) 3. Page Size: (ie, 10, - this number will be multiplied and the above {start} will be replaced and continue until you there are enough links, ie 200 ) 4. Only Count Blogs: if set, 200 links must be blogs before program stops. 5. Save ??" save button will save the settings into auto generated xml file located in the same folder as the exe file. If the file doesn’t exist, create it. It should auto load the xml and setting next time I open the program. Search Tab: 1. Search TextBox ??" to enter keyword 2. Start/Stop buttons 3. DataGrid ??" to show the result 4. Progress bar to show the result 5. Export button, will export the result to CSV file with column names on top Use Case 1. enter keyword, hit search 2. Show progress bar 2. Get the result and then, for each found link, go to the main site and pull: a. Title, meta keyword and meta description, b. check if it’s wordpress site c. check the fallowing links for RSS: (usually wordpress has it) 1. ?feed=rss2 2. ?feed=comments-rss2 3. And when you get the content from the site, maybe check for RSS link in it. 4. so if Page Size is 10, each page has 10 links, do the above and then move to the next page and repeat. Have 2 second delay between moving through the pages, based on the Setting in Setting tab. 5. show the result in the Grid when done, with all the columns: a. url, title, is_wordpress, has_rss b. When exported, have all the columns, meta_keywords, meta_description, rss_url, rss_comments_url c. Note: I need the main site’s title, and meta info. So for each link, you have to grab the content from main url. 6. have Stop/Start buttons 7. Result links must be unique. The tool should be dynamic and work with any site, given the setting are correct. Make sure you check unique links Pretty simple app, but please make sure you can do it before bidding.
