I am using 2 laptops for my music performances, one Vista machine (PC1) runs midifiles (Cakewalk midifiles with .wrk extension), and a TabletPC running XP (PC2) for reading the related music charts that was converted to .pdfs (using Foxit to read ). Right now, when I open up a midifile on PC1, my wife has to open the related .pdf on PC2. Is it possible for me to:
**1.** Connect the 2 computers with a minimum of hassles (crossover cable, perhaps?)
**2.** Have a way to open up the related .pdf (e.g. [url removed, login to view] on PC2) automatically when I open up the .wrk ([url removed, login to view]) on PC1. Maybe someone can write a simple program?
