I need a program that will assist me with the design of invitations. Right now when designing invitations, I have to list sometimes a hundred names on the invitation. One of the biggest problems is deciding how many columns to have making sure each column of names has the same number of names/ same number of lines of names. Furthermore, there are different categories (see attached example) which the names must go under. Basically, I'd like to be able to enter the category and then the list of names, and then a program would determine how many columns and how many names are in each column and format the names accordingly selecting the appropriate font. One thing to note is that sometimes a single name will run onto another line or into another column. This is something the program should be able to recognize and account for. Another thing is that sometimes one section will have 3 columns and then the next section will have 4. However, the font should be relatively the same size for each section. The whole goal is to fit the names on there in the most visually attractive format
We make our invitations on PageMaker but am open to other applications if necessary. See documents to understand the concept. Thanks so much!
