I have several piping components, including
valves, flanges, tee', and elbows. I have several
subroutines that work very well in AutoCad R14.
After upgrading to Autocad 2000i, the routine
crashes in places I can not repair.
Generally, the routine uses a "snap together"
method of assembly. After inserting a flange, a
valve is attached to the flange. As the valve is
dragged onto the drawing, using osnap, the
operator touches the flange, the angle is read
from the flange and the valve is inserted -180
degrees. Flanges would be inserted on the valve
in the same manner. Problem is, the angle is not
reading correctly, so the inserts are at different angles.....
