Create a Photoshop Plugin which will perform the standard image analysis as defined in International Standards Organization (ISO) 12233. This analysis procedure and Matlab software is currently available, however needs to be ported from Matlab M-code to become a Photoshop Plugin or menu item. The new software should have a similar behavior as the existing Matlab analysis tool avaiable as an executable, except for the process of opening the input image files, which will be handled through Photoshop. This procedure calculates the spatial frequency response, color registration, and gray level response of a scan or digital image, where the input image is the standard ISO slant edge target.

This plug-in must have all the same operational behavior as the existing Matlab SFR analysis tool defined in the provided link. It must be able to process both 8 and 16 bit per color channel images. The output results shall be identical, both in numerical values and format, to those obtained by the existing Matlab routine.
The software developer will deliver the comparison results (Matlab version vs Photoshop plugin) for at least 10, but not more than 30, image files to be delivered by Image Science Associates.
The Photoshop Plugin must work on all CS versions of Photoshop.
Payment will be made after verification testing of the plugin by Image Science Associates has been completed and all issues have been resolved.
