HELP SETUP REMOTE USB PRINTERS ON REMOTE DESKTOP
(Please only bid if you absolutely know the answer to this problem, or are absolutley sure you can solve it in three days)
For years we have been using Remote Desktop (Terminal Server) to provide connectivity to our few outside offices. Worked just great. Good speed, easy connection of drives and printers.
But as we changed to USB printers and more particularly to Multi-function USB printers, we were unable to get them to map to the server. IE: The remote users, running remote desktop, could not print documents from the server to their local printers.
In searching Microsoft's knowledge base I see reference to the problem and a work around on Article ID : 302361. I am confident we are executing the turn-around correctly but still we are unable to print.
So at this time I need to find an expert who can fix this problem for us. We will give the coder RDP access to the server and the clients and they need to work with both until the remote pritners can print from the RDP session.
I am hoping to other solutions if they work or are more eloquent. For example, perhaps IP addresses can be setup for the remote printers.
I ask that you be on MSN-IM so we can work closely together.
If you can solve this problem for me, please post a bid. I need to get this completed very soon.
We'll provide RDP connection so you can get in, analyze and solve this problem for us.
