We want to utilise rsync on 2 x Windows 2003 servers and replicate on an ongoing basis a large file directory structure in an efficient manner across a WAN.
We have used the version of rsync for windows called cwrsync (on sourceforge) however the Security Permissions are not copied across for us correctly .. we get the error:
"rsync: set_acl: sys_acl_set_file(., SMB_ACL_TYPE_ACCESS): Invalid argument (22)"
We would like to get rsync working as it is very important that security permissions are accurately copied together with the directory and file structures.
