Sage Line 50 2008 Showroom Addition

We need an application that will run on a windows based data capture device to take our showroom sales.

The application needs to? let us be? able to select a customer account from our sage line 50 2008 accounts package or create a new account.

Then we need to be able to scan the barcode on the item and enter the quantity that our customer requires.

We also need to be able to ammend the price if required therefore it would be useful if the data capture device can store? product information from sage which can be easily accessed.

This information would be:- Product cost, product sales price, product name/description, Product quantity which is currently in stock (with a warning flashing up if ordered quantity is more than current stock).

The capture device will then be docked so we will require a windows program that will collect the data from the terminal and import it into sage line 50 2008 as a sales order or invoice and update the? product records on the capture device to match those in sage.

We will require more similar work in the future for stock taking and picking and packing functions. to be discussed after this is completed
