I'm looking to create up to six phone applications for the various platforms. Perhaps concentrating on the android, blackberry and palm platforms due to volume of iphone apps.
Apps will be sold for price point of appx $1.99 or less. Apps are not graphically intense. Mostly text driven with drill down menus.
Looking for long term development partnership, working up to a larger application with advertising revenue possibilities.
First app idea (BAC Calculator) is in two parts:
Part 1. a simple BAC calculator with input fields that user will identify things like sex, weight, type of alcohol etc. App will need to calculate these variables & produce an estimated blood alcohol rating. App is for "entertainment" purposes, but should give user an adequate idea of BAC levels. There are other apps out there doing this, so I'm assuming code would be available.
Part 2. Auto Cab locater... if the BAC comes back over an estimated .08%, app will identify local cap companies phone numbers based on GPS location. Perhaps include cab rates or specials (not sure how to find this information??!). Phone numbers should link to auto-dialer.
App idea: Text Trainer Game - this app would train users to text faster in an accelerated gaming environment similar to tetris. Various levels, speeds and points.
More ideas to follow, but please give estimates on how much to develop these two apps in the 1) Blackberry 2) Android and 3) Iphone (iphone is the least important in the overcrowded market.) Pre is also an option.
Again, I'm looking for a long term partnership. Would consider profit sharing on sales, if interested. Would like to start small & cheap & grow from there. In this for the long haul and not a quick score.
Right now, I'm looking for bids on simple smart phone applications. I work in technology so have experience running development teams, but little experience in phone applications.
Once I understand how you develop, I can provide detailed requirement documents (if necessary) and help to quickly solve any design snags.
These applications are rather simple, but I am hoping to use the profit to fund bigger and more complex app ideas. If I find the right developer, I would like to build a long term partnership.
I also leave feedback for good work.

Updated bid with more information on two application ideas. If possible, please estimate cost and time for development along with work samples. Would prefer a coder with experience in Android and Blackberry over iphone. Thank you! T

Thank you all for your comments and bids! Beginning early next week, I'll be reviewing all the bids and contacting people/companies who are in the top group. Unfortunately, I am on a strict budget and those bidders who did not include a price in their bid will probably not be awarded any work. If you did not include a price and would still like to be considered for the project, please submit your price by the close of the bid. Also, if you indicated that you have ONLY developed for iphone, but have experience in the other smartphone platforms, please clarify that for consideration. IPhone is the LAST platform I'm planning on developing. Again, thank you all for your interest in the project. I'll be awarding work upon review of all bids/comments. Best, Tracey
Design software choices should best present the application for the specific platform.
