I have a simple screensaver that I have written in Objective-C for Mac OS X that I would like to have ported to Windows. I originally developed the project in Xcode for OS X, but I have never made software for Windows, so it would be great to have someone that knows what they are doing complete this project quickly. It should be quite simple. A description of the screensaver is here: + SCREEN is a screensaver program designed and programmed by O-R-G. The custom software tracks the path of the sun across the sky from sunrise to sunset. Using the current latitude measurement from your computer and The Equation of Time (an astonomical construct), the software calculates sunrise and sunset times for a specific date and location. The screensaver graphic changes from an abstracted sun to a moon coincidentally with the conditions outside. As the screensaver dims and shifts to a moon, it provides a gentle reminder: It is time to go home, maybe cook some dinner or go for a drink, and let the computer get on with it alone. + And quicktimes of what it looks like in the two states are here: [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] The drawing part of the screensaver is all completely written (and quite simple) using the C OpenGL libraries. I believe that the only work would be to make implement the screensaver framework and methods for Windows and to get the system time from Windows to use for calculating sunrise and sunset. Everything else should be completely portable from my Objective-C code. I will of course send you all of the source code from my XCode project and based on my research, I think this should be a straightforward job. I need to have the work completed by June 11.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
