I need a VBS that will get the current active directory domain and then list the number of users and computers in the domain to a text file. I do not want to have to input the domain info in the script, I would like for it to find this and inject it automatically into the script. I want the text file to say
Number of User Accounts: x
Number of Computer Accounts: x
and that is it. I want the number to start at the position of the X. If possible I would like to be able to change the path of the text file it creates via the command line. Example would be:
[url removed, login to view] C:\temp\[url removed, login to view]
or something similar. If it would be simplier to just perform a >> to get it to the text file that is fine as long as the format is as specified. Also I would like to only list users that have a post-windows 2000 logon. Example is the IWAM account, I do not want to list the builtin accounts as users. If this is possible.
Happy Bidding. :)
