Hi, I have a client server based stock control based application. The server is made up of a sqlserver database on a pc/server while the clients are all laptops that contain a sqlserver database with the exact structure but only a subset of the data that exists on the server. The server and the laptops all the contain the same application software. The only difference is that the server contains all the data for all our clients while the laptops only have data for the clients they are servicing. At the moment when the software or database changes i have to manually update all of these machines. What I want is for the server to check our central webserver via an existing webservice for any updates. If one or more exists then the server downloads the updates and updates the server locally. When the client laptops connect up to the server to sync their data, they will check to see if their any updates available from the server. If so then they retrieve the updates from the server and update themselves locally. I need someone to design and develop this process.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
