We need a add-in for Microsoft Dynamics POS 2009 that will allow us to sync with our Magento online store.
**Here is what we do:**
We run multiple stores online selling various products (We use Magento mall system so there is only 1 database for all the online stores).
We also have a store in a mall where we sell the same products as we do in our online shop so the stock in the store is the same as in the online store.
We use the Microsoft Dynamics POS 2009 system in our store.
The online store is the master in our case, the stock is kept in our magento system and not on the microsoft POS system.
Whenever we make a sale in our shop, we manually go to the magento admin panel and remove the item from stock.
Whenever we add new products we first add them to Magento and then we add them again to the Microsoft POS system.
**So here is what we need is a way to automate this.**
We need an addon for Microsoft POS 2009 that will make it go to our magento admin panel (many methods could be used i guess, like direct connetion to SQLor maybe make the addon go to the admin panel like a person) after each sale and remove the product(s) sold.
Each product in Magento has a unique product number so this should be possible.
We also need the addon to have a synchronize option. for example: we can go into Microsoft Dynamics POS and click "synchronize" and it will connect to
our magento and download any new products that we might have added there. Normal synchronzation feature. Our magento store is always the master.
If possible we would like the addon to be configurable, so it would work with any Microsoft POS + Magento installation. We should be able to enter
the ip address of the database and username/password or something similar. Not sure if this is possible but this is our preference.
