Upload transaction to Quickbooks with ODBC driver

I have a spreadsheet that I want to upload to Quickbooks using QODBC drivers ([[url removed, login to view]][1]).? ? There are 4 tables that I need uploaded if values are present

This project is to create a small application that would act in-between the spreadsheet and the Quickbooks file.? It would manage the transactions from the spreadsheet, put them in a “viewable?? state so that they can be edited/deleted, and upload them to the quickbooks file.

DESCRIPTION

I have a spreadsheet that I want to upload to Quickbooks using QODBC drivers ([[url removed, login to view]][1]).? ? There are 4 tables that I need uploaded if values are present

This project is to create a small application that would act in-between the spreadsheet and the Quickbooks file.? It would manage the transactions from the spreadsheet, put them in a “viewable?? state so that they can be edited/deleted, and upload them to the quickbooks file.

? ? ? ? ? ? o? The application would use the qodbc driver (or similar).? This driver allows users of Excel to read and write data contained in QuickBooks Accounting format files.

* The application would only have to hold 1-2 months of data.? Once the data is uploaded, the application would not have to keep it.

? The main task is to take the table that I have created, prepare it for upload using QODBC, and upload it to Quickbooks.

I have come up with a set of validation statements that I need to run first before the upload.?

1) If there is a MW value in any row eligible for uploading, there must not be a "select one" value in any of the dropdown. In other words, the counterparty value must be selected)

2) If a second "create upload file" is created, it would OVERRIDE the existing entries that have been previously updated to the application (if it existed). User MUST be asked first.

3) Initial macro that runs when this master spreadsheet is opened must take this master spreadsheet and create a new spreadsheet saved with today's date. Date on front page updated

4) Make sure prices on spreadsheet have all been updated (every one > 0)

5) if there is volume in the lower sections of imp and exp sheets (i.e. Line 57, line 69...etc of both "import to Alberta" and "export from Alberta", then the dropdowns must not be set to "select"

7) check that all inputs (foreign exchange and date) have been filled in from the Input tab

8) When uploading from the application, check that the totals of the spreadsheet still match the totals of what will be uploaded to quickbooks
