For porting one of my tools (namely CR_Commenter, which is an open source addin to [url removed, login to view]) to Visual Studio Orcas I need a very simple addin with just some basic functionallity. As you can see on the image above the only thing this addin should be able to do is to add some text at the current cursor position inside visual studio. It is more important to get a solid solution than a quick hack because this module is then used for a bigger plugin, it is just provides the basic functionality. The addin should: - Run in Visual Studio Orcas (currently Beta1), other addins like [url removed, login to view] run just fine in Orcas. - It should handle key events and allow adding comments when the user presses Ctrl+1 it adds the comment as on the image above. - Allow to add an comment like above, just add some text to the current text cursor position and restore the old text cursor position after that. - Optional: Allow expanding and collapsing the current region the user is in with a hotkey (Ctrl+4). I only need the source code for this, no installer or any additional features, just create a new addin and get to the point where text can be added in the way described above.
