I need a startup script that will map a specific driver letter (N:) to a specific windows 2000 server (\\server01\sales) on startup. Currently I am using the Windows Explorer driving mapping, but users are logging in when not network connected and saying "No" when asked if they want to restore the connection next time. There are other drives that are mapped automatically, but I am unable to get a server-side solution for mapping this drive. I need something that runs at boot on the computer, and does not give an error when the user is not network connected at all. All users will have rights to the server, and the mapping should work for any user that logs in.
Script and any required documentation to implement the driver mapping.
