I am looking for a programmer to fix the Gigya Socialize for Wordpress plugin ([url removed, login to view]) on my website. I have already nearly completed the installation, but I am running into a few bugs/shortcomings that I need a professional programmer to fix.
Users that sign up to our website join our mailinglist. This is why we need the user e-mail to be gathered during registration through Gigya Socialize. I'm quite close to getting the basics to work. The login works completely, registration works but doesn't grab the e-mail for the following networks: Myspace, AOL and Yahoo (in order of importance). What remains to be done is:
1. Fix the Myspace, AOL and Yahoo registration through Gigya Socialize in order to gather the e-mail address into the Wordpress database from the user.
2. Create a separate landing/registration page. The design has already been finished, it's just the Gigya Socialize plugin that needs to be fully working.
3. There will be multiple different landing/registration pages, but the only difference is which social networks from Gigya Socialize are displayed for registration (e.g. someone coming from Myspace will be presented with a big 'register with myspace' button). All other design elements will remain the same.
4. In case of the social network Hyves, Gigya Socialize asks for all the possible information it can get from the user during registration. The problem here is that Hyves users are then presented with exactly which information they are sharing before they register, which includes all kinds of information we're not interested in and might scare away the user. We would like to figure out if it's possible to just gather the user information we need most (username, email, country & possibly state) and nothing else so the user doesn't get scared away.
Please contact me if more details are needed.
