Looking for a designer or design team to develop a look/design and tools for a new blog portal Website. Those who are professional, experienced and with skills as a web designer (and css/html coder), can look forward to a great working relationship on this and several other design projects. The Website is a travel blog portal. Ideas and examples from some of those portals already existing are: [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] Name of the portal and overall design concept will be released upon assignment of the job. Bidders MUST be fluent in English language. - The design must me elegant, modern and clean and while it is a portal for blogs, should not look like a standard blog interface (using TypePad). - The web design must be unique, not based on any existing templates. - The design must be css based (tables can be in use only sparse where css is not an option). - Designer must be able to show a mock-up and to implement any changes requested before considered final. - Logo design should be considered part of the overall bid once the portal name is delivered to you. - We imagine a flickr-type photo badge that can be linked to from the various blogs featured on the Web site. - The design should be easily adaptable to additional blogs being added to the index of authors. - The site will host many pages - a clean and intuitive navigation scheme should be in use. - The site will be available in only English. - No Flash required but if it adds an interesting compliment to the design, then it will be welcome. - Resulting page should use valid CSS/(X)HTML. - The final deliverable must look the same on all major browsers (IE6, IE7, Firefox, Safari) with no visual differences. - The design can be liquid (not a requirement, but a plus). - We want professional, fast and quality results. - Former design work is required.
