Specs for ATAP Program reprise
The Purpose of the ATAP Program is to create an electronic relationship between the trading platforms offered by various brokerage firms and our corporate website, [[url removed, login to view]] . Some of these firms include Options Express, MB Trading Charles Schwab, Etrade, and other firms of similar ilk. This electronic relationship will function as the gateway to for Stock Traders Daily to communicate with the various trading platforms in order to execute stock market trades within those platforms on behalf of our mutual clients automatically, with their authorization.
ATAP stands for Automated Trading Affiliation Program. Our affiliates are the brokerage firms, and our clients have accounts with these brokerage firms. Our clients wish to have us automatically execute our trading calls in their brokerage account without them having to do anything, and in order to do this we need to communicate with their specific trading platform in ways mandated by the brokerage firm; trading platforms are used to facilitate the trades at the brokerage firm. This is a computer ??" based trading model. We input data into our system, it reads real time streaming data, it communicates with the platform at the brokerage firm, and the platform executes the trades.
The structure of the program should be as follows: The input and the engine, or the operational side of this program will reside on one of the domains owned and operated by Stock Traders Daily. An API will be created for each client individually, and that API will reside in the trading platform at the respective brokerage firm. A gateway will exist between the engine and the API. The gateway may be xml code. Each API will need to be unique in terms of client account info.
The API-generation screen will reside on our server and it will create an API code for the client to insert into his trading platform at his brokerage firm. This will not record any of the client account information; it will generate code using that information, but it will not record that code or any of the account information; it will be an ‘on the fly’ code generation system.
The input screen will reside on our servers and the input will changed every day by our managers (ONLY). This will require a database. The database will recognize current input, and it will store older input for reference. Input such as stock symbols, buy prices, target prices, and stop losses for stocks will be included, amongst others.
The engine will be .php based and it will reside on our server. It will be intelligent, and it will recognize where our buy and sell signals exist from the input in the database. Then it will read the streaming data for the stock we are trading that day and compare the data from the database to the streaming data for the stock. If the stock reaches our buy price, for example, a buy alert will be issued in XML format and a signal will be sent to the API script on the trading platform. The signal will generate a buy for that stock in the clients account according to the methods described by the broker.
The system will repeat every day with the current stock we are trading.
We have detailed specs available but this should tell you what we are looking for.
If you are capable of producing this, we are interested in talking to you.
