I am creating a large flash application that is based around a main index file that loads external swfs into a MovieClip on the main stage. I need to create a search function that allows the user to search all of the content within the application. This includes all of the external swf files. The search function should allow the user to type in a word and receive a set of results for that word. These results will show a list of pages that the word is contained in. The user should be able to click on a result, and be taken to that page. At the moment, all of the content is embedded within the swf files. If need be, we could load the content externally using .txt or .xml files, but I would need to be directed on how to do this. This application is being made for CD-Rom. Because of this, no server-side databases can be used. This has to work locally and run from a CD-Rom The successful coder will receive ongoing work.
