Flash Gallery Navigation This is a simple (but extra smooth!) navigation done in flash. I have a list of 50 model images in a database (could convert to xml) accompanied with their title, artist, sponsor, location, description and location information. I need to pull this information to a flash interface. The models have a front and back view which can be saved together or separately. I'll need the ability to add images whether on an xml file or preferably in a database. Please see attached jpegs to accompany description below. When a user enters the home page a random model loads (front view) with the details as shown. This should have a smooth fade-in effect. A user will have the option of scrolling to other images using the arrows. The transition should be smooth fades. Clicking on view details will reveal the model in the model detail page (below). Clicking on view all models will take the user to the view all (below). Some sponsors might have a site or email in the database/xml field making their name clickable as well. The model detail page shows both front and back views of the model with full description as shown. Arrows scroll to next or previous models. View All page pulls all models and is scrollable as shown. Clicking on the model will reveal it in the model detail page (above). Adding/editing models to the db/xml should update this and all pages. Time permitting I'd need to add a mechanism by which users can vote for their favorite model. This votes are tracked and displayed to see the top voted models. We could five stars like amazon rating! I'm willing to take suggestions on whether to use a database or XML. Looking forward to your comments and suggestions. I need this FAST and will give a good bonus!
