We are looking for a lively and fun design to brighten up our growing games and puzzles site, [Game Pixies]. The current design was put together by a couple of programmers so is simple and usable but also quite dull and could really do with a makeover from somebody with a little more artistic talent. The design should be fun and attractive but should not be graphics-heavy. No Flash please. However, it should still be attractive, cleanly laid out, uncluttered and readable. Scope of the work is redesign of static pages only - you will supply new HTML / CSS for the pages and we will integrate it into the site ourselves. Please see deliverables section for a list of the pages for which you should must submit designs. Changes in layout are fine, but the content of the pages must remain (including adverts). The design must work on at least the following browsers: IE 6+, Firefox 1.5+, Opera 9+, Safari You may need to change the colours of the feed and navigation icons. You must also include the Google ads in your design, taking care to consider [ad blindness]. There are also colours within the games and puzzles which need to be considered, and the site should not clash with these. Most of them can be adjusted to match your design - however, the colours of the cards on Set cannot be (these are #ce050c, #029e3a, #4f1493, you can see them in the first box on the front page) and will rule out some colours from the overall design) This is not required urgently, so if you are not immediately available please don't be put off from bidding. Please also include examples of your previous design work (links or screenshots will do). If you do a good job on this, we would consider you for future design work on our site.
