1. A website for a mosque (islamic mosque) needs to be designed and developed. 2. This is for a growing mosque and islamic community in Seattle, US. 3. requirement is for a basic website with the following sections 3a:) Home page for the mosque with an islamic design, current week's prayer timings, and placeholder for key announcements; brief summary of the mosque 3b) A page with calendar view with ability to click on a day and view the events for the day 3c) A page for prayer timings 3d) a page for mosque activities & islamic school schedule and details 3e) a bio-data page for the Imam of the mosque 3f) a contact-us page, where an user can fill-in relevant contact details and ask questions / clarifications. The data captured in the form is to be sent as an email to a set of designated email address; this form should also provide a drop-down with pre-determined content to categorise the nature of the inquiry. (for e.g. 'question about islamic school' 'question about Islam', ' question about mosque activities',' request for islamic wedding' ..etc). This page should also provide contact details of a set of individuals (static content) 3g)a community posting page, where registered members of the site can post generic announcements, for sale items, advertisements etc. This should be only for registered members of the site; when members register on teh site, a form to be provided to capture key details of the user (name, address, phone, email address etc). These details shoudl be saved in a DB. A simple workflow, where when a registered user enters a post, it shoudl be routed to a user id to be approved, before it appears on the website (to safeguard against inappropriate postings) The email addresses of the users from this should all be added to a group mailing list 3h) Reading materials/Details of Islam page - relevant articles can be uploaded, typed in. This is a light weight website that should provide an admin access for designated users to upload contents
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
A light-weight website in HTML/DHTML / CSS with SQL server as the back-end Any recommendations on how to go about such a website is welcome. Am open to redefine requirements, before commencing work. This could be an on-going engagement / phased development.
