I require an online database to keep records of my sales people's customer contacts. Its requirements are quite simple and not much detail is required. The database is to be in access so as I can mail merge from it. I would like it to be in ASP as I can use this code to some extent.
I require a login page which accounts can be edited in admin control panel.
It then needs to then open to a main table of customers. In this table will be cols with Company, State, Country, Next contact date, Last contact date. If you click on the descripter on the top of each colum, it needs to sort the table by that descripter. There needs to be a scroll bar on the right of the table to scroll up and down the cudtomer list. There will also be an option to filter out the inactive customers.
When you click on the Company name in the table, it will open a popus window with that customers details. This will include;
1, Company name, Address, Town, Post Code, State, Country, Phone, Fax, Email, Web
2, Contact 1, Job function, Phone, Contact 2, Job function, Phone
3, Next contact date that can be entered by a popup calander. Makes you enter this befor saving.
4, A notes section where it will have an auto date, and somewhere to enter in notes.
5, And a notes history where you will have a scrolable list of the notes history. Date and note. The latest contact being on the top.
6, At the bottom there will be a print button to print the customer contact details and the notes history. There will also be a save button that will save the changes, place the new note in the history and close the popup window. And a cancel window that will close the popup window.
7, On the top of the page will be an active or Inactive option.
On the main page there will have to be an option to crete a new enter a new customer.
That is all that is involved in this project.
