The coder will have to download the zip file displayed in this page: [url removed, login to view] (a 11Mb download, will uncompress into a >250Mb). Then the coder will have to write a Python program that use the SAX interface to parse it and print a CSV file based on it. The CSV file should look like the one that can be downloaded here: [url removed, login to view] (look at the end, there is a link to a Excel file, but in fact is a plain CSV file) At the end, I will have a CSV file with the information of all records that can be accessed from here: [url removed, login to view] IMPORTANT: Code must be commented so I could change it to add or remove fields into the final CSV file. Coder must use standard python library, without adding external modules. I think this requires [url removed, login to view] that comes with Python. I require SAX since is a big file to hold on my computer RAM as DOM tries to do.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program with as
**complete Python 2.5 compatible source code of all work done AND CSV output file**
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
Any platform Python 2.5 runs. I will test it under Linux.
