XML takes care of the content and Flash manages the presentation. I need to integrate numerous XML data files with Flash across dynamic text fields using ActionScript. Each thread or story in the XML fields needs to be displayed as an index page within Flash and then paginate across multiple pages within Flash i.e. Four titles with brief summaries, 3 per page that then span multiple pages (see [url removed, login to view]) as an example. Each story is clickable and displays the full story or thread. - Need a variable within the ActionScript to define how many stories are displayed / paginate across pages etc. - Also need an option to show all story threads in one dynamic text box (headline and brief summary) that is scrollable. I need complete control over how the elements are displayed and would rather use dynamic text fields formatted within Flash and not HTML formatting within each dynamic text field. Each XML feed will be different with different thread names.
