I'm looking to develop a php script that searches through folders for xml files, parses the xml and stores the information into a mysql database. This is a one off to move data from an old system into a new system. The directory structure is as follows: <<Name>>/data/<<year>>/<<week>>/<<xml file>> So for example a file from 2008, week 8 for "Peter" would be located at: Peter/data/2009/09/2O9RFK~[url removed, login to view] Week folders can contain multiple xml files with random file names. All week folders also contain an '[url removed, login to view]' file which can be ignored. Not all weeks contain a xml file that needs to be imported. The XML files are (sadly) not well formed - eg. no enclosing tags so some open source xml parsers won't work (unless you think it's easier to add tags at the beginning and end of every file). The tags are as follows: The mysql data fields are very similar. Only minor processing will be needed to input these files into the db (though week from the directory structure will be required). The script must search all the folders and input the data.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
