Hi, for this project I would recommend a web-app which works and behaves like a normal app on phones and also on computers, the big benefit behind it is that you don't have to stay ahead of different phones coming to market all the time meaning constant updates. For this app, you'll just need a hosting provider or a company server and anyone with the right credentials can access from any device. I would love to see the inventory software and see how it works in order to actually be able to determine how to mingle both together.
