Looking for developer to add customization to existing x-cart ecommerce website. Registered User Profiles need an additional field added and stored called Sales Rep. This will be a 3-digit code representing the appropriate territorial Sales Rep for that client. Not all User Profiles will have a Sales Rep so the default should be 000, or something consistent so we can distinguish profiles and sales with and without Sales Reps. The Sales Rep field should be viewable for all Customer Profiles.
The Sales Rep number would be assigned by the Admin, similar to the customer type (wholesale, International, etc). It would not be a drop down but rather a 3-digit field that would be manually input by the admin. This field will primarily be assigned at the time admin is approving a new customer registration but they also need the ability to add the Sales Rep code for existing Registered Users and to edit the Sales Rep Code in the future if a Sales Rep changes. The Sales Rep number should display on all orders and Customer Receipts/Invoices. It should also be available via order reports so that the admin can search for all orders placed by customers assigned to a particular Sales Rep for a specified period of time. (Example, they will want to run a report that shows dollar sub-total (pre tax and pre-shipping costs) for all orders in January associated with Sales Rep xxx. This report will be used to pay the Sales Reps their commissions. Commissions are paid on all orders from a customer that is assigned to a rep, even if the customer goes into the website directly and places subsequent orders.
