Write a companion Windows utility for a Bluetooth Low Energy measuring device. The device transmits data as CSV values, about 15 values each time. The program would receive the data in one of the following ways: - via Bluetooth link if such is possible in the user setup NOTE: Bluetooth link must be established without pairing. It should be possible in Windows 10, at least Anniversary edition. - via Serial Port emulation Received data would be displayed to the user in real time with history tape. THe user would have an ability to record the data locally into csv files. Comatibility - Windows 7-10 for serial port communiation, Windows 10 for BLE link. Complete setup package is required. Full source code in Visual Studio 2013+ must be provided at the project finish.

Hello, My name is Faizan and I am a PHP developer. I have seen your project requirement and I am sure we can do this. I prefer serial port and we can use NodeJs or PHP. In PHP we can access serial port through PHP Direct IO extension(PECL) based. For NodeJS we already have access to the port. The app keep on polling the port and store the data as it will receive. I wont say that this is something we do daily(to be honest) but I completely have clue of how this can be done and this looks like an interesting project and I would love to take the challenge. The end result would be your values stored in MySQL database or on TEXT File or XLS file whichever you prefer. Lets discuss in detail Thanks Faizan

Hi, just few months ago I created a windows service that read data via bluetooth. Project reference https://www.freelancer.com/projects/C-Sharp-Programming/Bluetooth-Service-for-Receiving-Files/ The sopurce code is C#. I am not sure if it is possible to connect device via Bluetooth without pairing. Bluetooth or Serial Port emulation is always a serial comunication, the only things that change is the port. Actually Bluetotth the is the mostly used serial comunication. Could you write a little description of the software workflow? Regards Armando

Hi, I can definitely do the serial port communication but the Bluetooth will be the challenge especially since I won't have access to the device to test via coding. I do have normal bluetooth devices that I can test with to see if the code will work on a generic basis if you are willing to do some tests to make sure the same code will work on your device. So basically, on the first test phase version, you can get serial port working properly and by the 2nd version, we can work on bluetooth functionality. If that's okay, I'd love to take up the job and deliver you a solution. I would be coding in Visual Basic if that's okay with you Thanks Respectfully Risharde
