My name is Shuaib, and I have an idea for a crypto-currency based gambling website. The project is a passion project for me to play on with my friends.
You must have a depth understanding of code, security, blockchain, crypto-currency and mathematics. You must understand how the odds of certain events are drawn in line with provably fair calculations, as well as understand how to secure the game's crypto-currency funds. You will be expected to consider all aspects of the website's functionality, how the platform performs and functions, the security and integrity of the game/project as well as the practical creation of the website. Knowing about server security, creating strong and bug-free code, as well as being aware of vulnerabilities is a must. You should have a deep understanding of the necessary skills, as well as self-awareness, a desire to learn, and passion for the project at hand. A fundamental aspect of the project, is evaluating the decisions you make, the code you produce, the vulnerabilities that could exist, and justifying every aspect of the creation.
After negotiation, and a full understanding of the project being reached, I will make a milestone for the project. I will not release any funds prior to the completion of the project. If you fail to provide a project that works in every manner stated during our discussions, the sum paid will be reduced. If the website is breachable, funds can be maliciously accessed, results of rounds can be determined in advance, or the functioning service can be abused in a manner that is against it's intended use, the project will not be considered complete. In cases of extreme lapse of judgement, with anything that deals with money, I would expect you to renege your involvement in the project.
Though I expect you to justify your decisions in which coding language to use, I suggest deep understanding in : Node.js, MySQL, System Administration
You can either bid on this project as a full stack, front-end or back-end developer. The end product should be polished, scalable (if I choose to launch it commercially), and look aesthetically pleasing. You can take inspiration from the design of other popular crypto-gambling websites, with simple but sleek designs in a minimalistic style. A polished website is expected, and failure to provide a marketable copy of the website, will not be considered a complete project. I will expect you to be able to describe your skills, why you feel like you're suitable for this project, and what you think you can do better than another freelancer. By the way, actually reading the listing in full, is kinda beneficial. So if you read this, congratulations, you're doing a lot better than other people!
