Hi,
I am an experienced Devops Engineer/Consultant.
In my previous role I supported and setup various ElasticSearch infrastructures as part of Logstash in Amazon Web Services.
As recently as July I was tasked with finding and actioning improvements for one of our major clients Logstash Virtual Private Clouds (which utilizes Elasticsearch to store the data )
I used the Elasticsearch Ruby SDK to write custom backup scripts and also a log ingestion check in Ruby which tracked how long a Log message produced and submitted to redis took to be visible in Elasticsearch's cluster. I am also an expert in Bash and write an equal amount of solutions using it.
I am intimately familiar with its API and how to configure it, How to recover from data corruption and how to make sure you don't have to worry about these things.
I already manage the wordpress web presence and all I.T. services for [login to view URL] hosted in Amazon Web Services and have 20+ hours recent experience helping them recover from a broken installation and improving all aspects of the site and its performance including forced ssl login and the migration of the database to AWS RDS Service.
My expertise in AWS is certainly useful if you want to host there however I can capably analyze any hosting solution.
I see this as an excellent opportunity for you to have this done right by an expert.
Regards,
Russell Maclean
