Laravel API + Vue.js Developer

Update, Build, and Test a Laravel (backend) Vue.js (frontend) API framework for an enterprise-level PHP/JS code migration project. A legacy PHP application is being converted to a RESTful Laravel API backend, and a Vue.js SPA-style frontend. We use Laravel 5, MySQL, Vue.js 2, PHPUnit, EcmaScript 6, Jasmine, Behat and Docker. The application API also interacts with external APIs (Twilio, Stripe, and others). The team is fully remote, Jira and Scrum are used for Agile-style management. This is an enterprise-level software project for an existing Software as a Service (SaaS) application involving electronic health records. This is a complex, demanding, and interesting project. Applicant must have previous experience with RESTful API design, version control systems, modern framework-based PHP, front-end Javascript frameworks, and automated testing. All refactored code must be covered with tests. This position could become a permanent job for the right applicant, depending on skills and ability.
