Need to track a customer across different devices. Here the sequence: a user reaches a landing page from AdWords; here the user gives "Name" and "email" and clicks to the form button. When he clicks on the form's button these actions take place: - an "User ID" is created and stored on a db as primary key (so before creating the "User ID" we need to check the first available ID) - the system collects a "HTTP referrer" and a "session ID": this data are stored on the db with the "User ID" previously created: it's a db record ("User ID", "HTTP referrer", "session ID"). - "Name", "email" and "User ID" are sent to an autoresponder (we use ActiveCampaign) - "User ID" is rendered on the thankyou a page after completing the form along with "HTTP referrer" and "session ID" Then we need to check conversions so, for instance, we send a newsletter to this user. The link (inside the email) to be tracked contains the "User ID". So if the user clicks on this link the system is able to retrieve the previous "HTTP referrer" on the db (through the "User ID") and render them ("HTTP referrer" and "User ID") on the page the email's link links to.
