Overview The main goal of this project is to create a website presented by a searchable database of services relevant to the area. Therefore, the main part of the website is a catalog of different services provided by businesses and private parties. Services are grouped by different categories and subcategories. The essential feature of this website is search for a specific service or business in a target area. Another important feature of this catalog is rating and reviews of the services. Additional parts of the website are “Community Board” where different current posts can be made by registered users and “Interesting/ Useful Info” presented by links, lists and articles posted by admin. [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] can be used as examples Roles: [login to view URL] User can browse the catalog and read all the information on the website but cannot leave reviews for services or posts at “Community Board”. [login to view URL] User can rate businesses, leave reviews, and post at “Community Board”. [login to view URL] Business gets a separate page where it can add info about its services and upload photos/ videos. Registered Business also gets tools to communicate with its customers such as responding to their reviews. In addition, Registered Business can leave info at “Community Board” (ex: sales, promotions, hire). [login to view URL] Main Menu (top of the page): 1. Home 2. List of Services by Cities 3. Community Board. It gives opportunities for Registered Users and Businesses to share their useful info (concerts, sales, hiring, looking for a job, etc.). Can add posts with texts and photos. 4. Interesting. Admin posts interesting articles, links, and lists. Add Business. Registered User should be able to add a new business or person who provides services. 5. Log in/Log out (forgot user name or password) 6. Registration for private parties and businesses. Businesses pay for their membership by PayPal or credit card. Main Part of the Home page: 1. Search line. 2. 15 icons of most popular service categories. An icon opens a list of cities where this service is available. Footer: 1. About Us 2. Rules and Regulations 3. FAQ 4. Contact Us
