PHP Coding for Social Networking Site

I run a small social networking site and need a technical programmer very familiar with PHP and MySQL to help add a field in on the signup page, profile page and search pages so users can search by university. In addition, I would like to add some functionality on the homepage that says the number of other users from your selected university and from your city (already in database and search fields). Clicking those links should take the user to the existing search pages, displaying those users. If this small project goes well, I would like to open an ad hoc hourly contract for a wide variety of php features and enhancements. I will be choosing the winning provider based on 1.) experience with advanced PHP 2.) ratings and completed projects 3.) hourly rate. Please provide information with regards to each in your bid.
