I run a free community charity weather website to try save lives. I want a program that gets images of the rain radar so i can look after at it as a timelapse and show people what had come over. Im after a simple standalone pc program to get an image every 6 mins. I will supply the links etc. App should save the images every 6 mins, have a start, stop button. Also be accessible from a php page on my site to turn on and off the program (i have a ddns and can setup a port forward to the pc)

If this can be a very simple console program, maybe with a portforwarded desktop accessible via RDP, then this can be made far, far simpler. I can do this in a couple lines of Python. Displaying the image on a PHP page, from here, is simple.
