I have an existing website that a user gets a username and password emailed to them.
The password is stored in a MYSQL database and is MD5 encoded, and we want a simple php script that should do the following
It would at startup read in a list of all usernames and all email addresses and sort them alphabetically.
Both fields are form an existing database, in an existing table.
If the admin user selects a username or an email address from either list an additional field will become available.
The extra field is a password field. There should be an update button as well. Once update is pressed the password is MD5 encoded and the existing record is written back to the database.
The script should have a "hard coded" password that must be entered by the admin user prior to being able to use the script.
The database name, table name, username and password to access the mysql database can all be hardcoded in the script as it's unlikely to change. We will provide you a sample database dump you can use for testing.
As you can see this is a VERY easy script so we are looking to get this completed in the next 24-48 hours.
