Social Media conflicts on Wordpress site / Need help with update

I need help with Social Media plugins and also with adding a new Category that also appears on the top Menu - and I need to rename one of my existing Categories also.
It seems that there are social media sharing plugin conflicts on my website. The developer that set up the theme for me, seems to have added sharing plugins that are "crashing" with the preinstalled theme options, resulting in "scrambled headlines".
It's my best guess at least. I have received NO training as a developer and am not familiar with Wordpres customization. I can only describe what is wrong in the hope I get help.
Facebook Plugin:
Facebook Share box appears full screen, and there is no LIKE button, only sharing option that takes over the whole screen. What my website needs, is a more "delicate" Facebook Like & Share function, that does not cover the whole screen but only a small portion of it.
OBS! - Facebook LIKE box on frontpage works FINE. No help needed.
Pinterest Plugin:
Also, it looks like my site is using a Pinterest plugin for WordPress to add the Pinterest button, but it may also have a sharing function on the theme as well. This results in scrambled headlines with symbols, when I press the Pin It button and the headline is scrambled / unreadable.
- There are now TWO Pinterest sharing buttons with each article.
OBS! - Pinterest LIKE box on frontpage works FINE. No help needed.
Twitter Plugin:
Headlines are scrambled - unreadable. To share the link on Twitter, using the Twitter Share button - I have to erase the whole headline and write my own text.
OBS! - There is no Twitter feed (follow) box on my page. That is OK.
All my articles are written in Icelandic, but Wordpress dashboard is in English.
Faced with over 90% of referrals to my website through social media sites, with "broken" social media sharing options may result in lesser visits overall.
I do not have the skill to fix this myself, I have to ask for help.
I hope I have been clear enough, I am NOT a Wordpress developer and I have no knowledge of "technical terms" - all I can do is describe the situation as clearly as possible in the hope I find someone that can help me fix these features.
