Version: SugarCRM 5.0 beta
Currently SugarCRM has ability to check duplicate data when an Account or a Contact data is saved.
But when a user duplicates a record and tries to save it, and when the description field of the original record has a very long text (more than 2,100 bytes), handleSave() in [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] generates a very long GET parameters, which causes a fatal error as soon as when a browser is Internet Explorer. This does not happen with Firefox.
I like you to change the following scripts to use POST instead of GET to avoid this error by using cURL or other methods.
modules/Accounts/[login to view URL] (handleSave())
modules/Accounts/[login to view URL]
modules/Contacts/[login to view URL] (handleSave())
modules/Contacts/[login to view URL]
