Updating some functionality on our website as we change hosting companies.

We are a training provider. We use our website to collect student inquiries and announce course dates.
We are in the process of moving our website to a new hosting company. We have 2 main projects.
1) We have a contact page form that automatically e-mails us when a visitor submits information, but it wont work with the new hosting company.
We are looking for the contact form to be re-coded from using PHP mail function to use SMTP authentication instead.
Essentially - it was working before, we need it to work again on the new server.
2) We have calendar dates on website for session dates. We know the dates months in advance. We would like them to automatically change over. IE) Currently dates read "Nov 15" but on around Nov 10 we would like them to automatically change to "Dec 6"
Basically we just want help porting our website to a new hosting company and not lose any functionality and have the date system work automatically.
