I Have a html5 video Player plugin for wordpress. This player creates a player ID in the order 1,2,3 etc.(See Attachment below). These ID's works fins on a single wordpress site but it is a problem on a multi-site because when the player is install on the new sub-site, it all creates its own ID's and unfortunately its start creating the same ID's like 1,2,3 which then conflict with ID's on the other sub-site.
This conflict is caused by a script that was written to embed the player which is referencing the player with the ID.
Now to solve this, we need to change the code in the plugin and make the ID's not to be in 1,2,3 order but to produce unique random ID like example: 1ag3h586g5fg. Now the most important thing to note is that the ID generated by the player should not be repeated even if the player is uninstalled and reinstalled, the ID always have to be different.
