Zen Cart - customized functionality


We're setting up a trophy/plaque shopping cart using ZenCart and we'd like some customized functionality. We can provide you with some pages of some competing sites to show you some of the functionality. Here's some examples of the functionality.

In some instances we will need to limit the total # of characters and lines entered. Mostly for trophies, clocks and items with small engraving plates. For most plaques and acrylic type awards we allow for a large amount of engraving. We can do a variation of these examples if need be or we can duplicate and let our customers know the restrictions in writing. I would like to allow them to choose between 10 or less font styles and font sizes. We don't want to get into point sizes but largest, medium and smallest would suffice.

Please note that for trophy plate engraving we will need a page with multiple boxes displayed. The link below may show this. If a customer orders 300 trophies and only the last line changes they will enter the two lines that remain the same, click a button saying they will all be the same, and these will populate the rest of the individual trophy engraving boxes, and they will just enter the variable line on each. All of this information needs to dowload to a text file that can be imported or copied and pasted into CorelDraw X3 or Adobe Illustrator so we can send it to our laser engraver without having to retype it all.
